In the Central Sugar Mill, the oldest sugar mill in São Paulo, founded in 1906 in the region of Ribeirão Preto, this precious cachaça was discovered. Produced by hand in 1982, the cachaça with noble and rare aspects was distilled to perfection and left in rest for 23 years in oak barrels brought from France in the 20th century.

Filtered and purified, Sagatiba Preciosa followed the most rigorous standards of quality to emphasize its noble characteristics of aroma and palate, guaranteeing the original excellence of the drink. In 2006, it was the only cachaça in the world to be part of the Superlative Category, with 96 of 100 points received at the most important alcoholic analysis institute in the world, the Chicago Beverage Testing Institute.
