The fertile lands of the Varosa valley are the birthplace of Murganheira wines and sparkling wines, which have always been associated with the highest quality standards.

Founded over 60 years ago, it allied the virtues of mother nature to a secular wisdom and asserted itself in the market with wines and sparkling wines of proven quality nationally and internationally. It has around 30 hectares of its own vineyards and controls and monitors over 1000 hectares of vineyards belonging to associated grape suppliers. To produce its wines, Murganheira selects the noblest grape varieties and carries out rigorous winemaking processes in accordance with ancestral techniques which are constantly being perfected.
